When you're feeling really tired on the inside...
I believe every form of discomfort, including feeling really, really tired, is your life tugging at you to say that something you're doing is not working and needs to change. It may be a behaviour or it could your thinking that's the issue. How can you identify the root cause and start making the needed changes? Ask yourself some important questions.
Here are a few self-coaching questions to help you check-in, recalibrate and choose a better feeling state:
How have I been sleeping lately? Whether the answer is positive or negative, what is the reason that it is how it is, and what have I done to contribute to that? What do I want to keep doing, what do I want to stop doing, and what do I want to start doing to optimize?
How have I been nourishing myself lately? (Whether the answer is positive or negative) what is the reason that is how it is and what have I done to contribute to that? What do I want to keep doing, what do I want to stop doing, and what do I want to start doing to optimize?
What am I pouring most of my energy into these days? Do I feel good afterwards or do I feel drained afterwards? What is my 'why?' for pouring my energy into this? Is it worth it? Where do I most want to put my energy?
If things could be as I'd like them to be, what would that look like? Who would I need to be, and what would I need to do in order to have that?
What's one simple and easy yet powerful step I could take to move myself in the direction of my ideal state?
Always remember you always have a choice and you're more powerful than you think.
